Max and Ariana had me reading long into the night with this final story in the Glass House trilogy. I loved this book and it left me in tears. One of my beloved characters dies, and I cry just thinking about it. As you can tell, the authors did their job of creating memorable and attachable characters. I feel that I should also warn the reader that parts of this story are very dark, but it's an extremely entertaining read. This is one story you don't want to miss.
I feel that the authors really captured the grief of the ones that lost loved ones. I cried my eyes out through most of the story, and I wouldn't change a minute of it. Max and Ariana really know how to get their readers emotions engaged. I would have to say that book three of the Glass trilogy is my favorite story. I think that it has to do with the way everything was summed up and how they left a possible opening for another story, which this reviewer would love to see happen sometime soon. All in all I feel that this story was the perfect ending for the Glass House trilogy.

The coming together of Man, Yowie, Alien, and beings whose origins are not yet known truly opened my eyes to the grand scale that LOOKING GLASS was written on. The book encompasses all that truly makes us human and what separates us from the animals or what we deign as not equal to us. A mothers love for a child is the key to a world without strife and help comes from those that was least expected. As the identity of the "Others" was finally revealed I realized the depth and magnitude that the Overtons had taken a chance and went to. The end result is a trilogy of such brilliance that one can only benefit and appreciate all that it has to offer. Max and Ariana Overton has Prevailed in the writing of LOOKING GLASS and has ended the trilogy with one powerful blow that will impact the reader long after the last word is read. There were parts that I had to reread in order to really understand the extensive research that went into the making of this commanding conclusion. I recommend LOOKING GLASS to everyone who craves the paranormal and one that is written with strikingly hypnotic imagery. Available as of 2004 and Published by Mundania Press, the book is worth more than any priceless artifacts to be found. To read the trilogy is to embark on a quest in doing our part to preserve the beauty of our world. For that is the only way we will be able to look into the glass, through the glass and beyond the glass to see ourselves as the people we were all meant to be.

This is not your typical save the world fictional quest, this is a high-rise manuscript towering that additional level to include scientific fact and research. It is very clear that a great deal of effort has gone into research of the Aboriginal and Neanderthal customs and the true representation of Looking Glass' Australian locale.
Like Glass House and A Glass Darkly, this story is resonant with diverse and unique characters that populate the journey to ensure an expedition of extraordinary detail to indulge any literary adventurer. As my eyes absorbed the words, my mind coalesced with the beautiful imagery of the environment and its inhabitants. The pace ensured a suspenseful tension that accelerated my pulse and thrummed in my veins to guarantee that I could not, and would not, settle for one chapter per night just before bed.
A highly recommended read from two very talented authors that blended so well together their words became one voice.
